There might be, Jean, but this whole network seems to have very little activity.

In this group are there members also interest in considering early stage financing of an hybrid solar electric airplane project?

Works on spec, connected, and grad student minions! Wanna be by new bestest friend?

Have you checked out my http://www.FoolQuest.com/intro.htm#green ?

Might you be interested in brainstorming a project that will play to your strengths and even help promote you for some short term paying gigs?

I expect these ventures to need free help, but if they turn profit I welcome
consideration for shares. I value networking with the pros, and have had
some fun with notables in rocketry in the past.

I have contributed to TransOrbital, X-Prize, and bids on NASA projects as
non-profit. One X-Prize job earned me a laptop so I could contribute while
following contract jobs in a motel. I am willing to contribute labor for
projects like the Lunar X Prize or the N Prize, but would welcome commercial
success at some point too. My primary interest is aerospace, and my skill
is in blueprints and solid modeling and assemblies. I am not an engineer,
but recognize some of their needs, and may tackle a little engineering math
as needed.

Due to unemployment, I will be forced to take labor jobs soon, so this can
help me keep sanity a bit too. I can retreat into Social Security, but hope
to hold out 4 years more. I have formed teams of students to learn and
support projects in the past too. High school kids or adults may try a new
career path and go on to formal education if they get the bug. My obsolete

David I. Luther: Are you simply prospecting for paying freelance assignments, or are you actually considering joining in new venture creation to work on spec? Please advise.

Gentlepersons:

If you have ideas to market, you need promotional material and hard line designs to show potential investors.

I am a CAD designer with varied experience. This has been a thirty-year mixture of aerospace and automotive work. I have worked on assignments for Pennsylvania State University’s Naval Research Lab, Boeing, Hamilton Sundstrand and Aerojet on the Atlas 5 rocket. I have also provided CAD services in support of two X-Prize teams.

I am now able to offer services from my home. I have capacity for ALIBRE 3D CAD (www.alibre.com) now, or I can upgrade to Unigraphics if volume warrants. I am prepared to offer services to start up ventures at no cost initially. I will share your investment of time to see your venture to profitability.

I can offer full design services from manual concept sketches to finished CAD models and drawings. Let me know if you have any projects of any size that might help your vision to grow.

Sincerely,

David I. Luther
