Very interested in this group...

We are currently in the "beta" release mode of our 3D GIS/GPS, golf cart, navigation system.

Here is a brief example of our 3D Golf Course technology: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ykr2tt7N04k

We are very interested in investors and potential strategic partners.

Kind Regards,

I think the greatest problem of early stage finance in space is the high capital required to enter a market and/or create and develop a new idea. Space is a capital intensive market, and results may not be quick enough or may not create enought cash flow fast enogh to make financing from VC and the likes easy. It is not like IT business where ROI may be substantial and quick.
If I were to start a new venture in space tomorrow, I'd try first of all to focus on services/brokerage rather than try and build anything like a space vector. If a VC or angel may see a quicker ROI may be more willing to invest in a still mostly unexplored business such as space.

Spaceways, Incorporated is planning on getting into the space tourism market within the next 2 years. We will officially incorporate in January 2009 as a North Carolina LLC. Currently, 2 spaceplane companies have expressed interest in leasing us 1-2 of their spacecraft for use. We estimate our initial operations will cost approximately $1-2 million for years 1-3.

Thanks very much,

William Gunn

My name is Leif and I represent a company that has an airplane that is ready to be build. They have 200 PRE-SOLD planes. We need 6 Million to get them FAA certified first. We are looking for VC or angels. This is a great investment because the plane will be low on emissions and use less fuel. There will be hundreds of thousands of carbon credits available when the plane is built. Please email me for more information. at Leif@klugesolar.com or click on the link to download the presentation:

Grass roots donations

I am opening this idea up for comment-

https://co.clickandpledge.com/sp/d1/default.aspx?wid=22131

Grassroots contributions have started to change our society. Who is to say that this might not apply to the civilian space race?

Here is what we are considering-

"Be a part of the new frontier. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference. We are going where no civilian has gone before. Come with us. Team STELLAR"

The categories and privileges we're thinking about are as follows

Stakeholder $50,000
Benefits - Newsletter, Half an hour interview with core team member of choice, option to phone in to the exclusive monthly stakeholder conference call, access to special log-in section of the STELLAR project web page, front row seat at the Mission Control room during the first landing, special Award from Team and special seat of honor at the first STELLAR landing reception.

VIP $10,000
Benefits - Newsletter, Half an hour interview with core team member of choice, access to special log-in section of the STELLAR project web page, seat at the Mission Control room during the first landing, seat at the first STELLAR landing reception.

Surveyor $1,000
Benefits - Newsletter, access to special log-in section of the STELLAR project web page

Anything less than $1000 would enable donor to get the Newsletter, which I do not think should be free to anyone who asks for it. This will be more than your average newsletter.

I look forward to your feedback.

Cheers! -Richard

SpaceMeals (SpaceMeals.com).

Pre-made lunch for children (Likely males ages 5-12). Made with the same ingredients and to the same NASA specifications as Foods consumed by astronauts aboard the ISS.

SpaceMeals might approximate a NASA "MRI" for Kids. Company might even utilize exisiting or former NASA personnel handling astronauts' dietary needs to construct Space Meals menus.

I figure the target market is, as I said, boys 5-12 years old. However the market may surprise us: Girls in that age range may show interest and some teens and adults may consume SpaceMeals due to their healthiness, portability and long shelf life.

These could be sold internationally and online in concert with perhaps their introduction in to the U.S. retail grocery marketplace.

I suspect you might find surprising consumer interest from youth in large population areas such as China and India -- countries that appear particularly interested in stimulating youthful interest in technology and aerospace. Trick in those cases would be pricing for those markets.
