A couple years ago, I began learning about neuro-linguistic programming or NLP for short. NLP has many uses and is hard to describe in a short form and this post is not meant to discuss NLP but just one aspect. I recently bought a book entirely about NLP and it has mentioned several times now that we use our five senses to gather information. We have a lot more than just 5 senses and I'm not talking about supernatural or ESP.
I mean real senses beyond just the seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and feeling that we are taught in grade school. For example, balance is a real sense that without we would have a hard time even standing. Now you might say that balance is part of hearing because it is detected in the ear. I think balance is sufficiently different than sound wave detection to call it a separate sense. Other examples include senses of time, pressure, hunger, and temperature. There are a lot more.
So I was wondering, how many entrepreneurs use and rely on these extra senses and what interesting stories you might have.
