Hello group! I joined this group of necessity. My dream is focused for now on recovering or extending the habitability of Earth by solving its energy gain/loss problems in a practical, existing and near-technology manner without reducing the scope or scale of human civilization. I am convinced that to accomplish this will require a large, autonomous, cooperative and peaceful space presence on the moon and perhaps as envisioned by Dr. Gerard K. O'Neil at L4 and L5 Lagrangian points also. My page contains further information. You are welcome always!

Plants ‘thrive’ on Moon rock diet
BBC News - 16 Apr 2008
By Richard Black Scientists with the European Space Agency (Esa) say the day when flowers bloom on the Moon has come closer. An Esa-linked team has shown that marigolds can grow in crushed rock very like the lunar surface, with no need for plant food.

The Space Frontier Foundation represents our belief at Griffith Corp. that the future is now. Our commitment to security and our vision for the future of security in space reflects our belief that the establishment of permanent settlements in space will require security solutions yet to be developed. We salute the Space Frontier Foundation and the IASE for bringing together new ideas, a direction for the future and the inspiration to dream those things yet to be discovered.

Have you
heard of this company called Unitel Aerospace? They have
patents on a starship that can travel instantaneously to other star
systems by quantum tunneling through higher dimensions or hyperspace. It can also
travel through time and to parallel universes. The technology is based
on back engineering of a UFO sighted by the CEO Larry Maurer. Website
is http://www.unitel-qht.com/uni/ . Check it out. I loved it. I
believe this is one of the best way to travel to the stars. Tell me what you think of this technology? Please reply.

Are any of you familiar with eSpace at the University of Colorado? Has anyone worked with them? (also posted on my blog)

Hello folks! Been a while since I've attended a conference. Plan to run a space tourism vision session at the NewSpace Conference at NASA Ames. I'm designing and building mockups / prototypes of products for space hotels. Hope to have some items to show and tell for the conference. See you soon!

Looks like eSpace as just launched in January. Here's the Web link
http://espacecenter.org/and their description: "eSpace is a not-for-profit organization that supports the creation and development of entrepreneurial space companies, the commercialization of the technologies they create, and the workforce to fuel their growth."
