My Experience and Qualifications
I am a retired Aerospace Industry Technician, Contractor and Consultant. I have over 35 years of experience in Aviation as an Aircraft Technician, Inspector, Pilot and Business Owner.
I currently own Sowell Aerospace Consulting and occasionally consult for the Aerospace Industry. I am an avid writer and write articles on Aviation for local news agencies and on the internet for several online Aviation portals. I specialize in Aircraft Technical Writing, Aircraft Maintenance Management, Aviation Project Management and Aerospace Contracting and Consulting Services.
I have a BS dergree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I am a Senior Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
I currently have two designs I have been working on for some time. One project I have been working on for years and I am finally getting ready to publish and patent is a new design for a futuristic Aircraft. It is able to hover and fly at speeds past Mach one. It has a stealthy design not on purpose but because of the way it is designed and flown. To look at it you might think it was an Alien craft you saw on a Sci Fi show but it really works and will fly once I have enough capital to build a prototype. I can't tell you much more because its a Secret Project at least until the patent paperwork is finished and submitted.
My second design is a space station idea that came to me years ago also. I have been working on it, off and on, for years now also. The way it is designed uses natural centrifugal force to gain an artificial gravity required for long duration stays. I have also incorporated a nuclear power station and propultion system capable of using the space station as a ship for travel. I call it a Space Station Ship (SSS). Its very large and will require a few years to build, but it is designed for very long term duribility required for space and travel to other regions of space requiring long term occupancy.
