Making Plans

I'm interested in connecting with Space Entrepreneurs locally and in the USA in general.

We're on the verge of some projects finally paying out and I want to develop a think tank, and other things, of folk highly motivated to participate in opening up The High Frontier!

If you are at all interested in being part of that, please do contact me:

Twitter Profile for Space Stuff ONLY!

I recently created a new account on twitter.com and separated out who I follow where.

At http://twitter.com/pioniwol you will find all my space contacts on twitter.

At: http://twitter.com/PamHoffman is everything else! (especially internet marketing)

I'd love a chance to connect on twitter. It seems to work even better than calling someone!

Best,

Pam Hoffman

Pam,

First ... yes, please do continue adding your signature to your posts!

Second ... yes, we are expecting to organize some events in the future. However, it probably won't be for a while, since they would presumably be larger (international?) conferences.

Third ... in the meantime, you can certainly try organizing your own events in the SoCal area. We create a category of discussions called "Events" at least in part for this purpose. Alternatively, you could create a new Group (say, "IASE in SoCal"?) and use it to schedule informal get-togethers, such as happy hours, dinners, weekend activities, etc.

Thanks!
Guillermo

Hi Pam,

I noticed we are both in Southern California and thought I'd introduce myself. I hope you'll accept my invitation to join my IASE "friends" list.

Pam: while I try to figure this style of blog out, may I give a suggestion about your photo? Flash into a mirror is no good. Try holding the camera at arm's length, with room light somewhat behind and to one side of face and look 6" away from lens (unless there's red-eye prevention). Or have someone shoot it, and use zoom. Not photography expert, but experience shows me it works.

Pam: My http://www.microlaunchers.com/ office is at the Mojave Airport since Sept 2005. The site explains the purpose. More recently a Blair Gordon of Ohio and I have started the nonprofit http://generationspace.org/ to be a 501 (c)3 to attract those interested in direct involvement. More recently, Blair and I have enteres for the N Prize, accessible form Gen S page.

Hi,

I've been working on the airship design to produce a near-space platform. I'm a founder at General Orbital where we are building our team. 8)
You can also find me in Second Life working around my prototype in the SciLands area.
